Chris and Mary Beth’s spring wedding took place at the picturesque Ma Maison in Dripping Springs. This couple’s penchant for craft beer was on full display with unique details strewn through out the wedding. The florist added hops to the flowers above the stone altar and in the bride’s bouquet, the molecular sign for beer was engraved into the groom’s cufflinks, and they had several kegs and coolers full of beer brewed specifically for their wedding. Their personalized bottle opener, engraved with their wedding date and surname was perfectly paired with one of their favorite beers, sherry barrel aged Atrial Rubicite from Jester King Brewery.
They started the day by getting ready and exchanging notes before the ceremony. The bride and groom read each note in their respective rooms, with families by their side, wiping away tears while connecting with each other from only a few rooms away. Mary Beth chose to surprise Chris with a first look at the Green Cathedral, a reclaimed antique French gazebo under beautiful oak trees. The perfect setting to share an intimate moment together before the revelry of the day began.
Their vows, read by a family friend who agreed to preside as the officiant, were so heartfelt that they had the front row in tears. Upon sharing their first kiss as husband and wife, Chris and Mary Beth let out a hollering whoop and sealed it with a high five. Easily one of my favorite moments from this wedding. Well, that moment, and the look on Mary Beth’s face during the reception when Chris successfully pulled off her garter by only using his teeth!
Thank you for inviting us to be a part of your wedding, we enjoyed every moment! Congratulations Mary Beth & Chris!
