Jocelyn and Bobby celebrated their wedding day this summer at Hacienda del Lago. These UT grad students met while in school and for anyone who knows Jocelyn, she is the most expressive and fun loving person you will ever know. The two lovebirds exchanged their vows under a canopy of trees with vibrant flowers in purple and yellow decorating the aisle. The reception kicked off with one of my favorite wedding moments – the anniversary dance where all married couples gather on the dance floor until the longest marriage is revealed. Their advice to the newlyweds? Never go to bed mad, excellent advice indeed. The couple hosted a competitive trivia game of how well do you know the bride and groom. From sports questions to favorite breakfast tacos and details of how they met, this was a fun and unique game I’ve never seen at a wedding. The evening would not be complete without partaking in mouth watering dessert from Sugar Mama’s Bakeshop! Chocolate, caramel and red velvet cupcakes, such a great alternative to traditional wedding cake and so delicious. The last dance of the night included a heartfelt moment of the couple’s family and friends circling them with a ring of bubbles on the dance floor. Thanks for including us in your wedding day Jocelyn and Bobby! Congratulations to you both!
