When the bride is a wedding planner you can expect an unforgettable day filled with creative ideas and spectacular decor! Jason & Michele’s wedding day took place at a beautiful private residence in Austin, Texas. For the ceremony, the backyard was transformed with hanging lights, leaning calla lily and modern ghost chair seating facing a picturesque view of the Bright Leaf Preserve. After an emotional ceremony, the guests were treated to a tasty cocktail hour with Mandola’s oven-fired pizzas, a beer pairing station from Twisted X and sparkling cocktails.

During the cocktail hour, the backyard was quickly transformed once again with lounge seating and modern, white dining tables for their cocktail style reception. Beautiful and dramatic flower arrangements consisting of leaning calla lily and hydrangea adorned the tables. The food, provided by Royal Fig Catering, was beyond delicious with my favorite guilty pleasure, the mac n’ cheese station. And of course you can’t forget dessert, a gold and black cake wall of treats too gorgeous to eat. And if cake isn’t your favorite treat, the dessert bar with fried donut holes, lemon curd and chocolate ganache would satisfy anyone’s sweet tooth.

The party continued with lots of dancing to burn off all that deliciousness. The Time Warps had everyone singing along to 70s and 80s tunes as the bride and groom jumped on stage for an impromptu performance of their own! As the night came to a close, we bid adieu to the happy couple as they drove off in their very chic getaway car, a vintage ’62 Lincoln Convertible. Congratulations Michele & Jason, it was truly an unforgettable day!
