Destination wedding photographer in Florida

Jen and Chi currently reside in Austin, Texas but opted for a Valentine’s Day weekend destination wedding in the bride’s hometown of Jupiter, Florida. The deep blue Atlantic provided the perfect backdrop for their ceremony. Jen’s custom designed wedding gown and the sparkle of the gold sequined bridesmaids’ dresses provided a modern take on a beach wedding that was simply stunning. After a picture perfect dip by the groom we took some of our favorite portraits of the day as the sun began to set on the horizon. The reception was held at the Jupiter Civic Center with an eclectic blend of nautical themed details filling the space. Orchids, gold coral, shells and mermaids sat atop tables covered in navy and gold sequined table cloths. Pale pink Chinese lanterns and a floral wreath hung from the ceiling. The bride even hand-painted the water color place cards, and designed the menus and boutonnières herself!

The reception festivities kicked off with heartfelt toasts from the maid of honor and best man. Dinner soon transformed into one big dance party and I have to say the bridesmaids definitely know how to get a party started. Sadly the night had to come to an end and we sent off the happy couple with a sparkler exit. Thank you for letting us capture so many wonderful moments on your wedding day, we had a blast!
