Jody and Brian’s wedding was a long time coming, and when I say a long time… these two have been together for 25 years and finally legally tied the knot on the eve of their anniversary! They wanted an intimate, low-key affair where they could spend time with their close friends, most of whom traveled from out of state to share in the revelry. Their wedding took place at Thurman’s Mansion on a rainy day in March, but mother nature couldn’t put a damper on this occasion. Stefanie and her team seamlessly transformed the venue to create a beautiful backdrop for their impromptu indoor ceremony. Brian & Jody walked down the aisle together with Jody’s cousin officiating the wedding. It was a heartfelt ceremony with guests erupting into thunderous applause when she announced their official union.
After the ceremony, guests were treated to Salt Lick BBQ and delicious cake balls from Sweet Treets Bakery. The evening began with emotional toasts by lifelong friends, followed by an endearing mother & son dance and a touching first dance to the Barbara Streisand song, Why Did I Choose You. The guests danced the night away and the DJ ended the party with Donna Summer’s, Last Dance.
It was a joy getting to know you two and an honor to capture such an incredible day! Congratulations Brian & Jody!
