Wedding: Jason and Jessie, Impact Hub, Austin, Texas

It’s not everyday you get to shoot your best friend’s wedding. I met Jason eight years ago and knew when he met Jessie she was the one. He called me the day before he planned to propose to her and asked me if I wanted to capture their special moment. Of course I said yes and was excited to photograph their proposal on the grounds of the Texas State Capitol in the hours before sunset.

Jason and Jessie chose to have a small intimate wedding with close friends and family. Their ceremony was held at the Central Presbyterian church in downtown Austin. Jessies’s mom designed and created her wedding dress and the bride made her own navy and cream paper flower bouquet as well as the groom’s corsage. The reception was held at Impact Hub where we were treated to a slideshow of photographs from their adventures together. It was a tear jerker moment for their parents as they watched and celebrated these special times with the couple.

Thanks for including us in your wedding, we had a lot of fun capturing so many wonderful moments. Congrats, Jason and Jessie!
